Abstract

Study area in Wumbubangka, Rarowatu and Rarowatu Utara, Bombana, Southeast Sulawesi. Regional geology in study area, geomorphology condition consist erosion hills and alluvial plains, lithology consist of schist stones units of Late Cretaceous – Paleocene age, sandstone units of Plistocene age. Method used is geological surface mapping and geochemical analysis AAS (Atomic Absorbsion Spektrophotometri) for sampling stone. Based on analysis data and discussion is litology in study area consist of conglomerate stone unit with fragmen schist, sandstone and kuarsit. Schist stone unit consist of schist gloukofan, schist amphibolite, meta limestones and rijang. Gold deposit placer in study area is eluvial placer deposit and terrace placer deposit, where gold deposits are deposited with other alluvial deposits. Spread direction of gold deposits placer, from west with morphology dominated is schist hills to east which have morphology of alluvial plains.
