PENENTUAN KUALITAS ASPAL BUTON DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SOKHLET KABUPATEN BUTON PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA

Natural asphalt is asphalt found in nature that is contained in the deposit of rocks with the amount of moisture content and the rate of bitumen is fickle, caused by the weather. As for the purpose of this research is to know the level of quality asphalt buton. The research was carried out using the method sokhlet and the process of data retrieval is done by way of noting the number of moisture content of asphalt and bitumen levels from each sample tested laboratory. Of the samples tested laboratory research results with average moisture content of 0.68% asphalt and bitumen 25,96% levels. From these results it can be concluded that the asphalt of good quality.
