Abstract

Deposits modeling is a step after the exploration drilling to provide an overview of geological conditions and characteristics of the geometry of a deposit. as well as being the basis of the analysis in determine mining method that will be used. In this study the method of estimation is inverse distance power method using software Datamine Studio 3. This research was conducted
in the concession area used drillholes data as many as 69 points and space distance between each drillholes 50 meters produce the amount of resources that have been calculated in the block model limonite zone as much as 4,185,000ton with average grades of Ni 1.06%, Fe 40.80%, and MgO 1.29%. Saprolite zone as much as 1,473,748 ton with average grades Ni 1.76%, Fe 15%, and MgO `19.84%. Based on the resource classification used in this study, resources available in the study area is classified as an indicated resource.
