Author Guidelines

Jurnal Geomine (JG) accepts manuscripts in the form of a research report (Original article research paper) in the field of Mining Engineering and focuses on the issues of applied science in mining engineering, geology, and geophysics, and that has not been or is being processed for publication in another journal. Manuscripts are written in Indonesia, except Abstract should be in Indonesian and English for the submission.

All manuscripts must be submitted to Jurnal Geomine Editorial Office using Online Submission at E-Journal portal address here, where author register as Author by online. If authors have any problems on the online submission, please contact Editorial Office at the following email: geomine@umi.ac.id

Jurnal Geomine has a policy of screening for plagiarism. We use Anti-Plagiarism Software "Turnitin" to check the authenticity and originality of the article.

Template and Guidelines for Writing Article, as follow:

1. Manuscript must consist of the following scientific article components (subheadings in sequence), i.e.: (a) Article Title, (b) Author's Name (without title), (c) Author’s Affiliate Address, (d) Abstract and Keyword, (e) Introduction, (f) Methodology, (g) Results and Discussion, (h) Conclusion, (i) Acknowledgments (if any), and (j) References.
2. Manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English with a maximum of 15 pages including references. Manuscript should be written according to this manuscript template in a ready-to-print form.
3. Manuscript should be typed with A4 (210 x 297 mm) and be written using Garamond font according to manuscript template.
4. Each figure should be given a title (Figure Caption) and placed at the bottom of the figure. Figure is able to be printed clearly (font size, resolution, and line size). Figure and table and diagram/schema should be placed according to column between a group of texts or in the middle of the page if it is too large.
5. The conclusion contains a summary of the description of the results and discussion with reference to the purpose of research. Advice is based on research findings that have been discussed. Suggestions can refer a practical action, the development of new theories and/or studies.
6. If any, acknowledgement can be given to the parties who provide research grant or financial assistance and support, the support of sections and institutions, or to the professionals who contributed in the preparation of the report.
7. For the bibliography, Harvard style is written according to the rules of writing. All references used in writing in the bibliography be numbered in accordance with the alphabetically, not the appearance of the article.
8. Referral source in the form of literature must be published 10 years. References used are the primary source in the form of research articles in journals or research reports, books or articles that are linked from the official source. To maintain the consistency of the way of reference, quoting and writing a bibliography we suggest using standard reference applications such as Endnote, Mendeley, Zotero, and RefWorks.

Each article submitted to the editorial office of Jurnal Geomine is free of charge including article processing after acceptance announcement. The publication cost is borne by the journal publisher.
