ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN VOLUME OVERBURDEN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SURVEI DENGAN TRUCK COUNT PT KEINZ VENTURA KABUPATEN MOROWALI UTARA PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH

Abstract

PT Keinz Ventura is a nickel mining company located in three villages namely Towara, Malino, Bungintimbe, Petasai Prefecture, North Morowali District, Central Sulawesi Province. The company's mining process uses open mines with open cast and open pit methods. The purpose of this study is to find out the comparison of the volume of overburden using survey methods and truck count. This research uses a kind of quantitative method because in this research it uses data in the form of numbers. In determining the volume of land clearance covering conducted surveys and truck count vehicle. The survey results for the month of March-June 2023 were 135.120 BCM/month, 81.768 BCM/month, 100.610 BCM/month and 9.592 BCM/month. The result of the truck count of transportation equipment in March-June was 142,836 BCM/month, 77.558 BCM/month, 97.548 BCM/month and 127.209 BCM/month. The difference between the surveyed overload volume and the truck count in March-June was 7.716 BCM/month, 4.210 BCM/month, 3.062 BCM/month and 35.617 BCM/month. As for the calculation, the deviation in March-June was 5,7%, 5,1%, 3% and 38%. There was a comparison gap between the survey and the truck count every month that was quite large influenced by high rainfall so low cohesiveness. Relatively wet ground material will reduce the capacity of the dumptruck vessel to be transported to disposal because the adhesive material on the conveyor tank and the material is not entirely transported and there is some overburden material and ore used to repair the front.
