Short-term mining design is an important part of mine design in mining activities to achieve production targets and provide predictions about the concept of mining progress over a certain period. Therefore, a short-term mining concept must be created. The short-term mining plan is divided into 4 months starting in May, June, July, and August. In these mining activities, the company limits the stripping ratio not to exceed 7: 1. The parameter used as an evaluation of the determination of the design obtained is volume. The results are designed based on the optimization pit design with an overburden seam A volume of 7,507,061.77 BCM, coal of 1,373,043.20 tons with a cumulative stripping ratio of 5.4: 1. The design made for the North Pit mining sequence design in May received an overburden of 358,884.62 BCM and coal of 138,944.67 tons with a stripping ratio of 2.6:1, in June overburden of 406,408.82 BCM and coal of 120,612.66 tons with stripping ratio 3.4: 1, month juli overburden 287,681.75 BCM and coal 136,266.90 tons with stripping ratio 2.1: 1, August overburden 520,148.44 BCM and coal 144,308.96 tons with stripping ratio 3.6 :1 with an area to be mined reaching 15.5 Ha
