Abstract

Hilux hill is one of mining front at PT ANTAM Tbk. UBPN SULTRA. The mining production at Hilux Hill has focus to get Low Grade Saprolith Ore (LGSO) materials. LGSO materials is low grade nickel ore group for export priority. Before the export process, LGSO materials from mining process is hauled to stockyard Transito and become some pile with called Exportable Transite Ore (ETO) then re-chek sample process. After the result of re-chek sample are done, LGSO material is hauled to Stockyard Port and
become some pile with called Exportable Final Ore (EFO) and ready for export. It some hauling process from Mining Front to Stockyard Port made materials losses. The goals of this study is to analysis percentage of losses and the reason of losses, with surveying method and trouck counting rate by rate of dump truck wich sclaes calibration data to counting the tonnage. So the losses of hauled materials is 2.17 % from Mining Front to Stockyard Transito and 1.33 % from Stockyard Transito to Stockyard Port. Among others of the reason of losses are there some materials attached at the heavy equipments and dumping factor make some materials become base pile.
