In determining the value of resources ore deposit required proper technique by several methods, one using the Inverse Distance Weight. Therefore this research activity aims to calculate and determine resource potential large laterite nickel deposit using the Inverse Distance Weight. The data used to estimate the resource in the form of data coring drill as many as 75 drill points and data grades from the results of exploration has been done at random. The drilling data is then processed using the tools of the program Surpac 6.5.1. to get the deposition of nickel laterite resource. Based on lateritic nickel resource estimates using Inverse Distance Weighting method Square (IDW2) with the COG of 1.5% - 2.0% Ni amounted to 1,309,219 tons, 2.0% - 2.5% Ni at 1,552,656 tons, 2.0 % - 3.0% Ni 112 813 tons and a total amount of 2,974,688 tons.
