Galena (PbS) is mineral metallic resistant to corrosion or rust. Mineralization galena consist of altered sedimentary rock Formations Latimojong (Upper Cretaceous), Walimbong volcanic rocks (late Miocence – Plioncence), intrution granite rocks (Late Miocence – early Pleistocence), and alluvial deposits. Conducted a research methods incisions mineragraphy polishes by observing the shape and texture of mineralized galena. Mineralization galena deposited on (host rock) granite and sandtone rocks. Compact from of mineralization is generally disseminated, disseminated and compact. Ore minerals are encountered sphalerite (ZnS), Pyrite (FeS2), chalcophirit (CuFeS2), chalcosit (Cu₂S0, wulfenite (PbMoO4), phyrargirit (Ag₃SbS₃), proustite (Ag₃AsS₃), azurit (Cu₃(OH)₂(CO₃)₂), seligmannit (PbCuAsS₃), tennantite (Cu₁₂SbS₁₃) and ores such as quartz not. Mineragraphy texture is replacement, infilling, cavity filling, exselution, intergrowth dan inclusion. Steps of galena and other metals in this study occurs 4 times on hydrothermal phase deposition process, first, second, third, fourth. Galena deposited on the first and second stage. Behavior of galena against sandstone and granite rocks, galena found in all rock samples. Present replace and replaced by ore minerals in the surrounding and some example of galena is more dominant than the other ore minerals. Ganesha precipitate galena mineralization in the area Tabone has interpreted the two types of sediment and sediment mesotermal and deposition of porphyry.
