Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) is water formed as a result of mining activities with a low pH (pH < 6) as a result of the opening of a potential acidity of rocks, causing problems with water and soil quality, where its formation is influenced by three main factors, namely water, oxygen, and rocks. containing sulfide minerals. This study aims to determine the effect oftime mixing1, 3 and 5 minutes on the acid neutralization process. The acid buffering characteristic curve (ABCC) method involves slow titration of the sample with the acid while continuously monitoring the pH. The material used in the acid mine Drainage treatment process is a material that has alkalinity such as limestone. Based on the test results using the variable stirring time of 1, 3 and 5 minutes, the initial pH was obtained for 1 minute (initial pH 8.45, final pH 6.01), stirring time for 3 minutes (initial pH 8.51, final pH 6, 23) and 5 minutes of stirring time (initial pH 8.68, final pH 6.71). From the quality test results, it can be seen that the time variable can affect the acid neutralization process. The longer the stirring time, the longer the reaction time (speed) between limestone and acid mine drainage so that the quality of the water produced will be better (higher pH).
