Analisis Kestabilan Lereng Disposal PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera Muara Enim Sumatera Selatan

In an open mining system, a place is required to dispose of the overburden material called waste dump, where the waste disposal is required to form slopes that has potential for landslides. This study aims to analyze out pit waste dump of PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera. The method used in this study is Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM) and the calculation of safety factors using the Morgenstern-Price method which is run with Slide V6 software. The parameters used in analyzing slope stability using slope geometry results from the waste dump section and material properties values obtained from back analysis, containing the cohesion value, unit weight, and internal of friction angle of fill material, sand, and silty clay. From eleven OPD sections that have analyzed, the waste dump slopes in a stable condition with FoS > 1.3. However, in two parts of section with FoS 1.26 that were obtained for the E-E section and FoS 1.05 for the F-F' section. Waste dump can be considered stable overall, but it needs to be considered a factors that can be reduce slope stability such as high rainfall, so it needs efforts to maintain the stability of the waste dump slope.
