Abstract

The value of the powder factor and rock fragmentation explosive results is an indication it is important in judging the success of the activities of the blasting. As for the purpose of this research is to know the value of the powder factor and result of fragmentation the explosion at a coal mine. The method of research done that is by using the calculation Kuz-Ram. Data-the data required, among other things, data drilling geometry, the geometry of the fragmentation and blasting, digging time. The results showed, the retrieved value powder factor on location of research i.e. 0.20m³/ton for material sandy clay stone, while the material for sand stone retrieved the value of the powder factor i.e. 0.24m³/ton. For the results of digging time obtained i.e. 9.79 to 10.04seconds. Then to the resulting fragmentation size 60 cm less than 10% of the total overall existing fragments. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that, by standard reckoning Kuz-Ram < 10%, obtained as a result of the explosion of fragmentation in the category either, as for the standard digging time based on the standard <11seconds, legally optimally.
