Urban construction and development are closely related to the availability of groundwater resources in order to sustain the growth rate of the region. This study aims to provide drilling recommendations in Sofifi, North Maluku. The research using geoelectric resistivity method by Schlumberger configuration. The data obtained are voltages, current, a long stretch, and the smallest electrode spacing. The results indicate that the groundwater aquifer has a resistivity which is at a depth varying between 20 to 64.5 meters with resistivity ranges from 50-150 Ωm; groundwater aquifer rocks consist of sandstones, coarse tuff and tuff fine. Based on these results, we can conclude that drilling for the supply of groundwater resources suggested above 50 meters.
