Resources estimation has an important role in determining the quantity and quality of a theresult. The objective of this research is to know the laterite nickel resources in block X PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk.In this research determination of laterite nickel resource estimation is using inverse Distance Weighting (IDW). Based on laterite nickel of the resource estimation is using IDWmethode drill point with a space of 100 yards and 1.5% Ni COG, retrieved resource tonnage of 3,100,238 tons with average level of Ni 1.80%
