Abstract

Pattappa Village possesses untapped potential in natural tourism, agriculture, and geology. To promote these opportunities, drone technology was introduced as an effective tool for capturing high-quality aerial photos and videos. A training program was conducted for the local community, particularly the youth organization (Karang Taruna), covering drone regulations, component introduction, and operational procedures, accompanied by hands-on practice using the DJI Phantom 4 drone. The program resulted in participants acquiring new skills in drone operation and aerial photography techniques for tourism promotion. This training is expected to enhance the professionalism of Pattappa Village’s tourism promotion efforts while maximizing its potential sustainably. With proper regulatory understanding and operational techniques, the use of drones is anticipated to positively impact village development without harming the environment.
