Abstract

  1. Sermani Steel Makassar is a joint venture between Indonesia and Japan. The company engaged in industry was established in Makassar, precisely at Jalan Urip Sumoharjo Km 7-Tello Baru Panakukang District. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment (temperature, noise, and lighting) on the psychomotor response of workers using multiple linear regression analysis The sample numbered 53 respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire and the type of data is primary data. The measurement scale technique uses a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that noise (X1) variable regression coefficient value is 0.274, temperature (X2) regression coefficient value of 0.201 and Lighting (X3) variable regression coefficient value of 0.420 has a positive and significant effect on psychomotor response . And the most dominant work environment in lighting has a positive and significant effect on the motor response of workers of 0.420 at PT Sermani Steel Makassar.
